Tips For Preventing Acne

Whether or not you have acne, it is very important to take care of your skin in order to prevent or reduce their appearance. It is important to wash your face at least two times a day – this way you will eliminate all dead cells, impurities and extra oil from your skin’s surface. Use mild soaps; harsh ones can cause too much damage to an already inflamed skin.

1. Moisturize – Many acne-preventing products contain ingredients that dry the skin, so moisturizing it should become your daily routine. Find a moisturizer that matches your skin type.

2. Makeup – Try not to use too much makeup. Wear it only when necessary. Foundation, powder and blush only make things worse. If you’re wearing makeup, wash it off very carefully and precisely, so your skin can breathe. Also, when choosing cosmetics, look for oil-free products.

3. The hair – Products you put on your hair can easily find their way to your face. These products block the pores and irritate your skin. Choose a gentle shampoo or conditioner and try not to use hair spray very often.

4. Hands off – Avoid touching your face as much as possible. Also, try not to prop your cheek or chin on your hands. You can easily spread bacteria by doing this and irritate your sensitive skin.

5. No sun – Try to avoid the sun whenever you can. Too much sun can damage your skin and create a surface ideal for acne development. If you’re already using acne medications then you must have known that some of these products are sun-sensitive.
